About Bristol Girls Boxing Club
Our History
Founded in 2024, Bristol Girls Boxing Club is the South West's first of its kind dedicated entirely to empowering women through the art and discipline of boxing, with an all-female coaching team. BGBC has been built on the foundations laid over the last four years in our female-only classes at National Smelting Co Amateur Boxing Club (NSC ABC) with whom we now share our home. Our mission is to create a supportive, empowering and safe environment for girls and women of all ages and abilities to explore their strengths, refine their skills and join a community of fierce and inspiring female fighters.
Our Coaches
Our coaches are all qualified and experienced in boxing and fitness training. They are passionate about helping our members improve their skills and achieve their fitness goals. Read more about our female coaching team below!
Our Facilities
Our gym is an old-school boxing gym equipped with the latest boxing and fitness equipment, including a boxing ring, heavy bags, speed bags and more. We also have a weights area and functional strength equipment. Take a visual tour of our gym below.

Abbie is our head coach has been coaching boxing for almost 10 years.
She is a certified personal trainer, an accredited boxing coach and an official with a wealth of knowledge and experience.
Driven by a passion for empowering girls and women through boxing and physical activity, Abbie brings dedication, expertise and inspiration to our club.

Emma has a long history with Martial Arts both as a competitive kickboxer and coach.
